How do we determine affiliate payouts?
Casino (Slots/Live games)
Our first 6 payouts paid 100% of the house edge (this is actually -EV for us due to provider fees. We tanked the cost.)
Our 7th and 8th payouts paid 90% of the house edge, and our most recent payouts have been at 70%. We also deduct leaderboard prizes from the referral income.
Total sum paid: $9,440,352.14
Sports
In our first payout we gave a 100% share of implicit house edge, set at 2% (again -EV for the house due to rather complicated reasons – Shall expand on this later.)
All other payouts we gave a 50% share.
Total sum paid: $1,296,983.43
Note: Expect these to be one-off payments – This is not nearly sustainable long-term. We'll probably go to very thin or non-existent profit shares on sports, and instead we'll find other ways to bring you revenue.
Beef
Our most recent payout paid 70% of the house edge in referrals.
Total sum paid: $441,511.42
Note: Beef is now 100% RTP, so it no longer generates referral earnings.
Blackjack
This one we find quite clever – We are giving affiliates a 70% share of any EV lost by users making any mistakes in the game.

We are giving affiliates a 70% share of any EV lost by users making any mistakes in the game.

Other House games
There is nothing to share from our other house games, since the RTP is 100%.

How will future referral payouts be determined?
This plan is still fluid, and we will be adjusting it along the way – We don't want to pre-commit to any specific system just yet. However what we can promise you already is that we are going to be very generous and we will find a way to make the referral system highly rewarding for you. In the beginning we are willing to go as far as operating on -EV by giving as much as 100% of the Expected Value generated to our users and by paying the provider fees out of our own pockets. On the journey as we gain more traction, we will transition into a more sustainable model.
About data tools and transparency
Note that this is a very early version of the referral panel – We will be expanding the data tools heavily, and we will be exceptionally transparent in showing you exactly how your referral revenue is generated. Stay tuned while we develop these tools.
When will the next payout happen?
For now, the payouts are done manually, approximately once per week. Soon enough, we will automate this such that referral payments are paid in real-time as players place their bets.

We believe that we can achieve the best of both worlds here. We believe that despite offering the purest form of gambling with 0% house edge, there will still be plenty of degenerates who will be spewing their money away on some other game modes which do have a house edge. Also, based on the success of the beta launch and from what we've seen so far and knowing what we have coming – we truly believe that Duel will disrupt this space and we believe that Duel will be getting an enormous amount of traction. This should be a great opportunity for anyone to bring new people to the site, as you will be earning a lifetime commission from these users.
